He should of karate kicked the old cunt Cantona style. Doesnt matter if he never played another game he'd be a hero to everyone not connected with the Mancs

Leave it to Cole. He'll kick the old *******s teeth out and than put his cigarette out in one of Fergies nostrils. Yes....great plan....not too much, no too subtle.Originally posted by Harv View PostHe should of karate kicked the old cunt Cantona style. Not a kill joy but I don't think he can be better than Gerrard. Gerrard on the whole is at a different level. Even at 20/21 you could say that he was destined for very big things.
Jonjo is good enough for us though. He's more Lampard than GerrardPatience when teased often, transforms into rage

Massive ask, i dont think he can do it. Gerrard really is a once in a generation player.Originally posted by Assassin View PostI have seen both Shelvey and Gerrard play at this age and Shelvey edges it. The question is, can he kick on and be as good or if not better than Gerrard. Here's hoping

good goal tonight. tried his best to drive the game from the middle, but he looked a little isolated at times. it was like a one man midfield. in the second half he was desperately trying to get the control back but he looked a little like the old headless chicken. might have been due to the other players around him fading away, again...removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Roy Hodgson is set to call Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey into his England squad ahead of Friday night's World Cup qualifier against San Marino.
Frank Lampard remains a doubt for the clash at Wembley after suffering a knee injury on Saturday and Shelvey will be called in case the Chelsea midfielder is not passed fit.
Hodgson had wanted Lampard to replace the suspended Steven Gerrard as captain. If he fails to recover, either Wayne Rooney or Joe Hart are likely to take on the role.
Shelvey, who is suspended for the Under 21 European Championship play-off against Serbia on Friday, has started the season in impressive form under new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers and netted as Pearce's Under 21 side beat Azerbaijan last month. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Honestly couldn’t see how he could back in the side after his suspension, but thought we could have did with him coming off the bench yesterday to add a bit of urgency to our midfield.
Good to see him getting called up for England though. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
