No matter how many times I've read this sentence I just can't seem to fathom what it means.

I like Shelvey. He's a bit cocky, has a swagger, is erratic, but those are qualities that can be harnessed for the good.

He has good technique and awareness.

His one weakness was his finishing. The amount of clear cut chances he spurned was frustrating, but to get into those almost tap in style positions is no mean feat. I expect his finishing will improve too.

I'm not gonna repost my opinion of Shelvey for a millionth time just to get back a reply 'he's just not quite good'. You don't rate him, I do, let's just leave it at that and after he gets some regular game time we'll see who was right

We have defo made a mistake selling him. We've been robbed honestly, if Swansea sold him next summer I think they would get £11m-£13m
