    From Wiki...

Dirk Kuyt (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdɪrk ˈkœy̆t] ( listen); born 22 July 1980) is a Dutch footballer who plays for English club Liverpool. He started his career as a striker, earning the nickname Dangerous Dirk due to his prowess in front of goal, but he has been converted into a winger and plays the position for both Liverpool and the Netherlands national team.

Who the f*ck calls him 'Dangerous Dirk'?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

to be honest I can see no difference in him this season. for me he plays the same every game. runs around, works hard, the ball bounces off his shins, he gets it back and gives it away, he tries a long range effort and it hits the opponents legs, he then gets it back and gives it away, he gets given offside, he runs around and occassionally he'll pop up and score a goal. he is very consistent.

think I'm losing my patience with Dirk, his ball skills are ****ing woeful for a PL player.

Thing is he's a big game player but teams like this he never seems to do the business, really frustrating today

I'd rather have him on the right than Downing. That said he does actually get the ball down the sides and is one of the few to get into the box. Kuyt is no where near being a weak link. He is actually someone I can see being transitioned into a box to box CM.

As ever he's mostly great against the big teams, but a waste of a place against games like yesterday. Lost count of how many moves broke down at his feet.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Kuyt was best when played on the right of a 4-2-3-1. he was never really all that good playing upfront.
