    Christian Poulsen

Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen has revealed that he will weigh up his options in the summer.

The former Sevilla and Juventus player has failed to make an impact at the Reds, and has been linked with a move to Danish side Copenhagen at the end of the season.

"At the end of the season, I will evaluate what to do about my future," the 31-year-old was quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "There are many factors to take into consideration.

"I am happy here, as is my family. I have the full support of the side."

The Denmark international has played 12 matches for Liverpool this campaign, but has struggled to find a starting spot since Kenny Dalglish took over from Roy Hodgson as manager.

Nice for you Christian.........these days, people ****e at their jobs get the bullet.

Seems an innocent enough lad, just no bloody good, and is probably at the point in his career where he doesn't mind the squad role and his thousands in the bank every Thursday.
Guess we'll see what his motivations are at the end of the season if a chance of a move beckons.

aye - terrible terrible signing - we were even linked to him under rafa when every liverpool fan on here or other sites or down the pub could see he was ****e

We dropped a ball with him and Jovanovic - both will be on decent wages and will prob be quite happy to sit on the bench and 'be a liverpool player' for a couple years now - now clubs will match their wages, certainly not in England were they have not shown anything to suggest they can compete in this league

Best hope we have is they get a tempting offer from some 2nd rate european side thats blagged it's why into the champions league
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

We should force West Brom to take him.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I think he's paving the way for what he already knows - he's on his way out of the club!

Seems a decent bloke but not good enough and I'd be shocked if he fits into our plans past this current season.

I think Poulson could turn out to be an imporant signing in the sense that this club will never ever sign anyone else as **** as him.

                The only way is up!

Poulsen was a poor signing for us and will hopefully be moved on in the summer (if someone will take him).

I think it's time that football introduced some form of pay as you play or performance related pay system i.e. when you first sign you get paid x amount, when you have reached a required standard you automatically get a payrise to a specified level (this could maybe even be backdated). But it would at least provide an insentive for the player to perform and if they flop their wages aren't so excessive that they can't be moved on.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm sure Woy will take him of our hands, if he's still in a job at the end of the season.

This will rely on the players agreeing to it in their contract, I think it does exist to some extent though, Owen I think is on a pay as you play deal with Manure.

Hard to enforce though as although some players may accept it they'll have agents in their ear warning against it (It'll harm their cut!)

                        What?!?

                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Nice that Poulson thinks he has a choice in his future..............

I can see him going to some low ranking club in La Liga such as Hercules.

His reject buddy Trezeguet is having a great season there and he said that he loved playing in La Liga so the move there "could" reignite his career (or what's left of it).

Of course he does. He can't be forced to move, can he. He could see out his contract if he wanted to.
