The duo are widely expected to leave Anfield this summer as Kenny Dalglish and owners Fenway Sports Group prepare to usher in a new era, prompting Potters' boss Tony Pulis to assess the deadwood in a bid to add depth to his squad ahead of next season's Europa League quest

With on-loan striker John Carew unlikely to return to the Britannia Stadium next season, Pulis is eyeing Ngog to add to Stoke's attack after striking five goals in 11 Europa League outings.

But Liverpool's valuation of Ngog remains at £8million – a significant mark-up on the £1.5million he cost when arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in 2008 – which could see Stoke's interest wane.

By contrast, hopes of landing Denmark international Poulsen have increased with compatriot Thomas Sorensen offering a high recommendation of the midfielder to Pulis.

The deal should be: You buy Ngog and you have to take poulsen as part of the deal

Both for 10 mil would be ****ing top business, and It would guarantee 6 points against them if they both play

I'd take £8M for the pair happily - would free up wages, add to the transfer kitty and get most importantly get rid of 2 players that aren't good enough for us.

I'd even take 5 million for the pair, and that's valuing Ngog at 5 million.....would be interesting to see him play for Stoke, I think he might surprise a few.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I know what you mean, anything £5M+ for the pair would be decent enough and a run of games for N'gog in a side where the pressure will be less is probably where he should be and show what he's capable of perhaps doing, I just think now he's had long enough here and seems to have gone backwards the past season or 2.

                Poulsen wants Anfield stay
Reds midfielder hoping to kick on and stay at the club
                Last Updated: June 5, 2011 12:37pm

Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen insists that he wants to stay at the club and be part of the rebuilding process.

The Danish international is reported to be one of several players heading towards the exit door this summer, having only figured a handful of times under new boss Kenny Dalglish.
Poulsen joined the Reds at the start of last season under former boss Roy Hodgson for £5million, but has become a much-maligned figure during his spell at Anfield and accused of not being up to the pace of the Premier League.

Despite struggling over the past year however, Poulsen still feels he can contribute in the centre of midfield and have a part to play in their revival, despite links with a move to Stoke.
                Long season

"It was a really long season. I came here in August and a lot of things happened during the season - we have got new owners and the manager has changed," he told the club's official website.

"The whole time the dressing room was really good during a season of a lot of changes. The atmosphere is always better when you're winning games, but that is normal in football.

"In the second half of the season we found ourselves as a team and I am looking forward to seeing how Liverpool play next season because I think a lot of things have gone on this year, so if we can have more of a stable season then it will be interesting to see which position we can finish in.

"I am sure Kenny is the right man to lead Liverpool to success in the future because in the short time he has been here, we have only gone one way - and I hope that will continue in the future.

"Of course, I would also like to play a little bit more - and that is my hope for the future.

"To come to Liverpool and to play at Anfield has been really good for me, but I hope I still have bigger moments to come in the future that I will be able to talk about at the end of next season.

"I hope I can get closer to the starting XI. I have been training hard at Melwood to try and get back into the team and that is my aim for the future."

He came on after 60 minutes in Denmark's Euro qualifier against Iceland but nothing new...
A couple of completely mistimed tackles, a lot of hurried and stray passes and even more examples of bad decision making and big troubles with controlling the ball
How on earth did he ever get to wear our shirt?!

This reminds me of Harry Potter being dubbed in Hindi. Harry Potter essentially becomes Hari Puttar in Hindi. It's beyond comical to watch the dubbed version
