Poulsen: I want to be part of it

Christian Poulsen is convinced Liverpool will enjoy great success under Kenny Dalglish and new owners Fenway Sports Group - and he is eager to be a part of it.
The Denmark midfielder believes the Reds head into 2011-12 with a greater sense of stability off the field as well as a unity in the dressing room nurtured by Dalglish and his coaching staff.
On a personal level, Poulsen is keen to build on the 21 appearances he made in his debut season on Merseyside having arrived from Juventus last August – and he is hopeful of ending the forthcoming campaign with a medal.
He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was a really long season. I came here in August and a lot of things happened during the season - we have got new owners and the manager has changed.
"The whole time the dressing room was really good during a season of a lot of changes. The atmosphere is always better when you're winning games, but that is normal in football.
"In the second half of the season we found ourselves as a team and I am looking forward to seeing how Liverpool play next season because I think a lot of things have gone on this year, so if we can have more of a stable season then it will be interesting to see which position we can finish in.
"I am sure Kenny is the right man to lead Liverpool to success in the future because in the short time he has been here, we have only gone one way - and I hope that will continue in the future.
"Of course, I would also like to play a little bit more - and that is my hope for the future."

Not what I wanted to hear tbh, I don't dislike him but he is not fitting in, he doesn't seem to belong here, plus he is blatantly bang below average.

could be he refuses to ask for a transfer in order not to loose out financially......so he commits to the cause leaving the club with a player they do not need and who refuses to leave, ball in clubs corner, club officially list him on transfer list and have to pay out his contract as they are the ones who make the move to sell him and not the player

Knowing Poulsen he won't be desperate to leave, at every club he has been in he has always fought for his place in the team and without much complaining about not playing. If no good offer comes for him, I don't think he will leave just for the sake of leaving. When at Juve he refused a move that didn't suite him even when it meant less game time.

Just cause he wants to stay doesn't mean that he is.
He can try and train as much as he wants to but nothing will change. He's not an option for us at all.
He wasn't part of Kenny's plan last season and he won't be in the mix next season either.
If he cannot find a club himself he'll be used a makeweight for some of our summer signings.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Liverpool misfits David Ngog and Christian Poulsen could be in line for moves to Stoke.
The duo are widely expected to leave Anfield this summer as Kenny Dalglish and owners Fenway Sports Group prepare to usher in a new era, prompting Potters' boss Tony Pulis to assess the deadwood in a bid to add depth to his squad ahead of next season's Europa League quest
With on-loan striker John Carew unlikely to return to the Britannia Stadium next season, Pulis is eyeing Ngog to add to Stoke's attack after striking five goals in 11 Europa League outings.
But Liverpool's valuation of Ngog remains at £8million – a significant mark-up on the £1.5million he cost when arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in 2008 – which could see Stoke's interest wane.
By contrast, hopes of landing Denmark international Poulsen have increased with compatriot Thomas Sorensen offering a high recommendation of the midfielder to Pulis.
