Poulsen has been a shadow of the player who impressed at Sevilla. Juventus knew what they were doing when they let him go, quite simply his legs have gone.

I think in his prime he would have done well here.

I think he has been unfairly misjudged by some supporters. He was a decent player and he hasn't been terrible for us. He seems like an honest pro and I'm sure he knows that he hasn't been a world beater since joining LFC. If he leaves this summer then nobody could blame him for joining us. It's a shame that he didn't have a greater impact. There are mercenary players who haven't delivered and don't give a **** like Jovanovic and Cole, I wouldn't include Poulsen in that category. I hope he finds a club he's suited to and enjoys a few more years at a decent level.

Bit harsh on Jovanovic IMO. I think they were both offered the once in a lifetime opportunity and took it (like we all would), and its not worked out.
