I really don't understand why the press don't pick up on how much of a petulant, spiteful, hypocritical bully this man is. He has absolutely no grace or class about him, yet the media seem too afraid of ever bringing this up. Yes he's a great manager ( sorry, but he is), but learn some humility for **** sake.

Compare that to the sometimes bordering on personal attacks on Rafa (sorry to bring that up but it was a point of comparison ). It makes me so mad!

Sir Alex Ferguson refuses to talk to MUTV after FA charge

          • Manager blanks Manchester United's own television station
          • Ferguson charged over criticism of referee at Chelsea

Dunno what's going on this morning. Every post I've made has ended up with a dupe. Luckily I can go through and delete them before (most) people notice.

From the Beeb's Gossip column -

Referee Damian Rubino showed a record 36 red cards in the recent match between rival Argentine teams Claypole and Victoriano Arenas. Rubino sent off all 22 players PLUS their substitutes and technical staff as a mass brawl erupted.

Bring him over to work in the EPL and SPL. A few abandoned matches, not replayed would have an effect on behaviour, methinks.

This is all part of Ferguson's bullying tactics that he's done for years, referees are scared of making a big call against them, and once someone does (about.... once a year or two), he makes sure to put all of the media attention on it. The man is a cancer to the game and as soon as he finally ****s off, it will be a lift for everyone else involved in the league. "Sir" my arse, the most classless, obnoxious person in the history of football, it'll all be swept underneath the carpet when he retires/dies.

Tough on Vermilion but I tend to agree.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think as the BBC found, if you criticise him you lose all access.

I guess most media outlets don't want to take that chance.
