Don't clubs get extra TV revenue when they appear on Sky. I seem to remember in the past reading that everyone got an equal share of a 'basic pot' and then there was extra cash paid to the clubs involved in matches shown on sky (although I could be wrong). Could whoever controls this pot be it Sky, the Premier League, or the FA not with hold their fee for Sunday's game because of breach of contract? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

To be fair, the media I've been listening to and reading has been bashing them. Even 5 Live have turned on them yesterday, which considering the amount of Man U fans working there is nothing short of a miracle.Originally posted by Glenn Hysen View PostWhy isn't the media bashing United about their boycott? Don't get it really, had it been Liverpool...
There's also been some articles from broadsheet journalists slamming them. I'll try and dig them out and link to them. Are you the Judean People's Front?

Fergie's broken his silence
Ferguson condemns Anfield performance

Sir Alex Ferguson's anger at what he considered to have been a pitiful Manchester United performance against Liverpool last weekend was revealed yesterday in an interview he was annoyed to find had been published on an American website. The manager's comments, which are understood to have formed part of the match programme for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal, appeared briefly on the CBS website though were taken down.
Ferguson has refused to speak publicly since his comments about referee Martin Atkinson after defeat at Chelsea on Tuesday last week, which leave the manager facing an Football Association commission on an improper conduct charge next week.
"I have no excuses for the poor performance at Liverpool who were the better team and deserved their win," Ferguson said. "I was disappointed because we didn't perform to the level I expect and which to be fair we generally achieve."
Despite Chelsea's win at Blackpool on Monday, Ferguson reiterated his view that Arsenal are the main title challengers. "Clearly they represent the main danger to us achieving our ambitions in a revival of the rivalry of a few years ago, and I am sure they regard us as the major threat to their hopes"

Dont like his attitude and never did . I felt offended years ago when he made his claim re us , I thought at the time "how dare he utter the name of our Club in such a way ", he was not big enough a man then and still is not . I dont like him as a person . I was delighted when the two Irish horsey guys took him to task -hope that little venture into the tall grass cost him . **** HIM !!.Roger Waters . Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
