Aye, 3 + the 2 suspended, and 30 grand fine..ha...30 grand, should have made him pay 5mill to charity.

Still, lets be thankful for small mercies.

Wonder what his reaction will be.

I'm trying to find that out now - are you sure? If so it's completely and utterly pointless. Only a total stadium ban - i.e watch it on telly at home - would work.

            Yeah you can...ridiculous really.

No doubt when United win these matches when Fergie's banned, the post-match comments will be along the lines of 'we did it for the boss' cheesy bull****.

If that's the case, why did Mourinho hide in the wash basket that time against Barca (I think), is he just some sort of pervert or something?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Think the Uefa rules, and rules generally on the continent, mean that the Manager has to stay in the stands and can't have any contact with the players or staff during the match.

These FA rules are a joke, he could basically sit about 4 rows back from the bench or phone down to Phelan.

He can do the half time talk which is the main issue in my mind, how often do United look better after a halftime kicking from Ginsoak?

                Off the Skysports Website

He will then be in the stands for the Premier League matches against West Ham, Fulham and Everton and he will not be allowed in the dugout for next month's FA Cup semi-final against arch-rivals Manchester City.

Currently, the last game of the ban would be the Sunday 1st May showdown with title rivals Arsenal, although that could change depending upon when United rearrange their postponed fixture against Newcastle United.

This is the equivilant of us being fined 50p and being made to hoover the car after being caught drink-driving.

If he can go in the dressing room and talk to his assistant manager what is the point? the UEFA system should be adopted as this is hardly a punishment

The only really effective way to punish such behaviour is points penalties - suspended penalties for first offences probably.

I'd settle for a public stoning.
