That's exactly it, everyone swears on a football pitch but running straight up to a camera and effing right down the lens is insane and ridiculous. I would've thought a ban a bit harsh though. Should be fined.

shaggy, he should not be fined. there's nothing wrong with swearing. for abusing the camera man, or even for being a cunt, yes. but not for saying ****. that's completely overzealous.

Huh? If screaming '****' right into a camera at lunchtime is absolutely fine then pundits and commentators alike should be allowed to swear.
