Arbeloa has definitely turned into a cunt. He had a bit of edge about him before and we'd see it sometimes - sneaky, cynical fouls for example - but now he's full on. A total nark, he ended up pissing off almost all of his Spanish team mates who were playing for Barca.

He's a total nark? That hasn't really enlightened me tbh

And I still like Mascherano and would take him back. Yeah his displays lately have been totally cuntish but so what. I love Argentinian players, they winners.
Nah. If he had been an attacking player with that attitude I would have probably liked him a lot more. I totally lost respect for him the day he got sent off vs scum. He just proved himself to be a hotheaded limited faux-spectacular selfish mouthy ****. Acceptable if you're going to score or make something happen - annoying and pointless if you're just going to ultimately give the ball away.

Did you not see the games? Sly kicks, seemingly winding them up with verbals all the time, causing rucks, always in the thick of it when it kicked off. Had nose to nose square ups with Villa, Pique and Busquets. It's not just me who's noticed it.

Just an opinion difference.......personally wouldn't want him back, as I think our gameplan can now progress under the King with different personnel in midfield

            and/or

would have to be a very good deal for us for me to think about it

Mourinho makes alot of his own problems. I think he has been eclipsed this season by Barca and Guardiola, and has clearly got the arse about it. He needs to shut up and regroup for next season. He is a sensational manager that just likes the sound of his own voice at times, but he is one of, if not the best managers in the game, regardless if you don't like him as a person.

As for Masch i thought for the most part he was excellent for us, committed and dogged, fantastic watching a player hunt down opposition relentlessly. But i always thought he was a bit of a douche, but didn't care as he was playing for us. And to be fair you do have tinted views about LFC's players when their at the club. Anyways Masch looks average in that Barca team watching him try to keep up with the Barca passing style is fun, anyways his behavior and antics has been nothing short of a stain on professional football, glad he is not associated with LFC, and a player that i personally wouldn't want at the club even if he is blatantly suited to the premier league, each to their own i suppose.

As for comment about Arby being a cunt, i don't agree with that at all. Was always a niggly player with us, IMO he was a very good defender and still is, he is a wee bit dirty and has a bit of bite to his game, i like that.

Like I said he had it in him and I liked him a lot too - strangely underrated and under-appreciated in his time with us, I reckon. I just think he's got a good bit worse.

Same could even be said for Alonso. Never out of the referee's ear nowadays

I wonder is it the the whole Real Madrid pressure cooker atmosphere? Everything about the club from the fans, to the president etc "Expects", there is no leeway, loyalty or forgeivenss about this club IMO, this must heap enormous pressure on the players and managers alike. I'm not condoning it in the slightest, as these ****ers know what their coming into and get damn well paid for it but maybe the pressure and the atmosphere around the club is a reason for this?

F*ck that. In terms of their behaviour (rather than their play, if I dare make the distinction) no one came out of those games with any credit, except Messi.

At least Alonso and Arbeloa made a point of shaking hands with all the Barcelona players at the end.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

On the other hand he and Alonso both shook the hands of the Barca players after they were defeated. I think people tend to want to moralise/be judgemental far too much about some types of behaviour on the football pitch.

I seem to be making a habit of coming in with the same point as someone else just after they have made it. Nonetheless, top point

Alonso had just wiped his bum with his hand, and Arebloa had just blown his nose into his palm. Both at the express orders of The Special One.

Your post was phrased a little more delicately though.
