Do people see him as a CM though? thats what UTD really need and I dont think he will fit that bill, He's a great player but he's more of an attacking player which UTD have plenty of and I dont see where he'd fit in, and if played at CM I think it will leave them fairly exposed. Against the weaker teams it would be ok but against the stronger teams the could be exposed. To beat teams like Barca they need a player like Masch aswell as sneijder.

I really don't understand this obsession with United and how great they and all theire signings have been. They were one of the worst teams ever to win the PL last year IMO and although they may have bought well this summer, I just don't see how they've strengthened. I think CM as you mentioned could be a problem for them, they seem a bit light in that department.

Even with Sneijder, Barca would have absolutely no bother destroying them again.
