Well that's a change in stance from "Agger made contact, Berbatov went down".

Agger made no contact, Berbatov threw himself to the floor, Howard Webb gleefully pointed to the spot.

    Again.

    That's it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

"Going down" = Cheating. We don't have anything like that here thankfully. YNWA!

Maybe I'm weird, but if I were his team mate and he hadn't gone down in that situation, I would have torn strips out of him at half time.
You bloody well must be if you think LFC fans pointing out a utd player diving is unusual enough that you feel the need to enter into a defence of the player.

No offence to you in particular scotsdave, but reading this reminded me of how much I hate "discussing" football with scum supporters.

Errrr..... Do you really believe this to be true?

Of course it's ****ing cheating. Going down at will, when there's barely contact, let alone a foul, is cheating.

If the Berbatov one had been the other way round & we'd got a pen for that against you, you'd be fuming.

He clearly kicks his shin. It is possible for there to be contact, and for the player to dive as well...

Sorry but I just don't get that het up about it... Footballers cheat from the first whistle to the last, in every team up and down the land. Is it desirable? Of course not. would I encourage kids to do it? Of course not. But I am a realist - at that level it's about winning.

And there sums up the mentality of many Manc fans.

There's a reason so many other fans detest your club & it's got nothing to do with success.

Stop dodging the issue, het up or not, the point is that if the roles were reversed you wouldn't think it should have been a penalty.

There's only one way to put this - when it comes to me, my feelings about football, my attitude to bad decisions etc we can safely say you don't know what you're taking about.

So if you'd like to stop throwing the generalisations about we could have a decent discussion.

I haven't come in here with pre conceptions about Liverpool fans. If I wanted to be the douchebag and just poke everyone with a stick, I could have done so and taken a lot of enjoyment out of it. But I haven't, and all I'm getting is snarky ****ty comments about 'you people' etc.

Isn't the world so unjust eh?

You being here provides no benefit to the people on this site. I don't see what benefit it has to you if your not looking for trolling pleasures. So although we should live in a world were rational conversation can happen between mancs and scousers over football, we don't, so go away.

You define it as dodging the issue because I have a different opinion from you? I'd be making the same argument if the roles were reversed... It's a foul in my book even if he hasn't tried to cut him in half... Still a foul.

Even the guardians minute by minute described it as the kind of decision that is given 99 times out of 100.
