I suspect that given he is a complete crock the club were more than happy to find him misbehaving to get him off the wage bill.

It's one of those difficult ones - even in his 'poor' season at Barca he scored 21 and got 9 assists. He's a very good player, possibly one of the top 10 in the world in terms of individual talent, but he's not a team player and never really puts in a shift. Essentially he is an executive version of Berbatov.
