Chelsea are nouveau rivals, the sort of rivals that come and go. Whereas once those rivals were Forest and Villa, they're now Chelsea and Spurs.

Everton and the Mancs are always there no matter what and are by far our biggest rivals.

I would rate the Aguero transfer to Real as the most controversial transfer ever if it happens. The Figo transfer simply don't stand a chance IMO.

Pedantic and each to their own opinion. When i look at the fixtures for the league, i think who is going to realistically challenge Liverpool F.C. , i look at Man United,Chelsea,Arsenal,City & Spurs. Of course i look at the Everton but for me they are not realistic contenders,competitors or challengers to our goals and objectives as a club and what we are looking to achieve.

Yep. It's just about how you view it personally. No right or wrong answer.

The Everton game would be more intense and hyped up in the days leading up to it, during and after but then it's forgotten about rather quickly until we meet again.
Whereas we're always much more wary of Chelsea's results as we're in direct competition with them hence the rivalry is stronger imo(all yr round thing).
