Real are probably prepared to pay the €45m but Atletico can't sell to them. The board would be chased out of town if that happened. Atletico can still refuse to sell even if someone make a €45m bid. The buy-out clause is €45m+VAT. IIRC it means that the real buy-out clause is around €60m.
It would need to be 100% Aguero's decision or else he won't move to Real. How do they fix that?
They use the media so every club know that he is available for €45m. If another club make a €45m bid and Aguero turns them down because he only want a move to Real then Atletico can claim that they had no other choice than to sell to Real.
That is the reason to why Atletico screams out the €45m price IMO.Stop the cyberhate
