My mate met him when he was on Soccer AM, it was around the time he was suing that builder who since went on to commit suicide over an amount of cash that was less than a weeks wages to Owen.
He said Alan Davies, Helen Chamberlain - even Tim Lovejoy - would have some banter during the commercials. Except Owen, who thought he was above them all and acted all ****ish.
