he's a gob****e - many people (me probably included) wanted us to sign him - i'm glad we didn't - he's cunt - as rich says, he could go and play for boca again...it'll just mean he'd have to be on £30k a week instead of £130k

He's already a ****ing multi millionaire, so it's not like that pay cut will kill him - and if it's what he wants to be happy then why not ****ing do it

City will be going for Zlatan, Aguero, Higuain, Villa, Ronaldo, Messi, - basically any good striker out there.....just put £70m on the table and see which club takes it

I wouldn't even be suprised if we hear £50m rumours for Suarez/Rooney/Van Persie/Drogba - just for the ****ing sake of it

The likes of Tevez and Citeh are making me sick to my stomach over the way football's gone.

Personally I just see him as a bloke who's torn between being pissed off with the game and loving it, he just needs to stop telling his internal struggles to anyone who'll listen.

What he means is that Boca can't pay his utterly ridiculous wages. If any of this was serious he could play for a nominal amount.
If it was wages he wouldn't be talking about quitting, more likely they can't afford the transfer fee, the other major financial issue for a small club.

So you think City will just let him go on a free?

no but i reckon he'd force a transfer through that Boca could afford - otherwise he just says **** it...either sell me to them or i'm not playing, and i'm taking my ball with me.

Aye - whats the worst that could happen

if he just basically said....no thats it, i'm ****ed off with football life and this country and i want to go back to argentina - well what can city realistically do....The can say well **** you....your not going anywhere, we're not selling for less than £50m - say they agree terms with Real Madrid....Tevez just refuses it

in the end city will be forced to try and let him rot in the reserves until his contract runs out

And then, Tevez could just say **** it....i'm going back to argentina anyway - that what would happen ? surely city wouldn't want to be paying him when he is living in argentina - tevez is happy because he's back home - so city could probably sack him and put him on say gardening leave which would mean he's not allowed to sign for anyone until his contract would have expired....well **** it - tevez jus moves back to argentina, trains everyday with boca to keep fit, lives of his millions he already has, and then when the period ends, he signs for boca for free and he gets his wish

Wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

I know it's not a popular view but I do feel sorry for the bloke. You see him on the pitch and he clearly does love the game, and he's an amazing talent.

But he's got the worst manager out there who whispers sweet nothings in his ear.

"City love you, look what they're offering. You can get back to what you love about the game. Come on. The dark side is calling...."

The money to him wasn't necessarily about the money, I have no doubt his manager would have manipulated it to be about what Tevez wanted to hear.

Then he's got there and it's just as ****. In fact worse cos there's a constant stream of mercs coming in, and because he's took the ****ty advice of his money hungry manager he's lumped in with them.

He's constantly talking to the press because he's had his head ****ed with so many times he doesn't know if he's coming or going, and just dreams of going back to playing for Boca's as a kid again before all the money **** happened, otherwise he just wants to **** it all off.

He's just a mixed up bloke. Fact he as so much money doesn't change that.

This stuff with Tevez is getting boring now, he doesn't like his club, he does like his club he's going to retire, he's not going to retire, he's going to quit then he isn't...

Just make your mind up and stick to it FFS

If he wanted more money then he would stay at City and sign a new deal. He would probably get £300k a week easily.

He just want to enjoy football again and play in a league that is not all about money.

I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
