In dreams yes but some players just want to play football and have fun doing it. Not many examples out there but they exist.

If Tevez got the chance to move back to Argentina and play then he would probably do it for almost nothing. Almost nothing in this case being £20k-£30k a week.

Football players really got no chance. If he is being honest like Tevez, then he is a c*nt. If he isn't being honest then he is a c*nt. If he changes his mind, then he is c*nt.

Tevez is a player that want to play football and enjoy doing it. He is so rich now that he don't need more money. He want to have fun out there on the pitch again. He want to enjoy playing football again.

I don't buy that for a second, he's the definition of the modern day football mercenary, no matter where he moves to i guarantee his wages will be 200k a week plus
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Ah i forgot about Ibra, Mancini recently said he'd be interested in him.

Plus the FFP rules are now in force so spending £70m+ on one player would be stupid.
          We come not to play.

I don't know if he is a c*nt or not. I doubt that. He wouldn't be Captain, and an excellent one, if he was a c*nt.

He is just a player that like to say what is on his mind. He is being honest and say what he want. City knew what they bought when they signed him. He already back then talked about quitting the game.

The club that signs him will get an excellent player, excellent leader and a player that always give 100%. They will also get a player that will say what is on his mind. They will get an honest player. His opinion may change but he will tell the fans about it and not stab them in the back.

He told the Man U fans months before he moved to City that he wanted out of United and that City would be a big possibility. He was honest about it.

He is probably not the most clever player out there but he is an honest one. I don't know if he is greedy or not and I don't care. So many players out there are greedy. How many of our players are greedy?

If a player like Tevez say something then people will twist it so they can moan at him. Look at this thread for example. He was being honest and said the same thing he said for months. He want out of City. He said the same thing he said for months. He want to play in Argentina again. Nothing changed there.

I would rather see one of our players do what Tevez done and be honest about staying or not and why he is doing it instead of a player that don't say a thing but still want a move and don't enjoy playing for us.

Well at the end of this sage we'll see who's right, cos I'm pretty sure they won't be.

Torres for example could have followed Tevez example. He could have told us fans that he wanted out and why months before he moved to Chelsea.

He could have been honest about it.

I respect Tevez very much because he is letting his club know about what he want and he isn't stabbing the fans in the back. He is being honest about his situation.

As long as a player do that I don't care if a player play for us because of money or not. The most important thing is that a player is honest or not.

Tevez wants to reconcile with his wife, who from all accounts doesn't want to leave Argentina after he got caught screwing behind her back.

Tevez was handed a hefty pay rise last winter after his first outburst, and also asked for another pay rise last time he spat his dummy out. For me he's a modern day mercenary.

As for the City fans, they respect his abilities and think he's a fantastic player, but they can't ****in stand the man.
I make no apologies, this is me

Seems to me, he's putting himself and his needs/wants ahead of the club/team. Something you accuse Gerrard of, and slag him off constantly for it...despite there being no actual evidence of it.

Yet, Tevez wants out of City, is clearly putting himself ahead of the team in doing so - and your assessment of this, is simply that he is 'honest'....

                    Jesus wept.

I love how Tevez, who consistently disrupts his club and puts their fans through the mill, by constantly whinging about wanting out, is an 'excellent captain', yet you slag off Gerrard, who does none of that.

Tevez is a ****ing whinging cunt. I don't buy that **** that he's mixed up and confused. He needs to take responsibility for his actions. The worst case scenario in this instance? He's paid over a hundred grand a week to play football in a country he doesn't seem too fond of... Boo ****ing hoo.

He's lived in the UK a long time now, and he's signed contract after contract.

If I was a Man City fan, I'd hate the bloke with a passion. Zero loyalty. Unfortunately for them, their transfer policy means they will tend to attract a lot of players like that. I'd like to see them set a fee - 25mil would be reasonable imo - and not budge from it. If no one pays then he stays. If he complains to the press, fine him. If he refuses to play, stick him in the reserves. If he refuses to play with them, fine him. They have the money to make an example of Tevez.

Absolutely sick of seeing these ******s who treat fans with utter contempt, and who act as if they are so repressed. Dick. If he wants to play for Boca so bad, don't sign a new and improved contract and move to them on a free transfer.

I reckon they'll go for Aguero and / or Ibrahimovic.

                          Spot on kris.

If he cant stand living over here, why did he move to City? He'd already been in the UK long enough before then to know what it's like FFS.

Tevez is a great player, even at United i admired him greatly. World class.

However, he's the biggest whingebag of a footballer. Wish he'd just wind his neck in.

I'd love to know what this £200k p/week footballer actually has to whinge about.

What aspects of a 'hard life' does he have to suffer, exactly?

What's his next whinge going to be? "Oh, my wallet is so heavy, i can barely carry it around with me!"

                              **** off.

I just hope we don't get a similar case with say Suarez in the coming years, crying about the weather etc.
