Pure bollocks. Carra earns close to 90k. Aquilani AFAIK was on 80k.

Liverpool accept Alberto Aquilani offer from Fiorentina
Liverpool have accepted an undisclosed offer from Fiorentina for Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani.
The 28-year-old has flown to Italy from the Reds' pre-season tour of the United States to complete his move.
Liverpool are likely to step up their attempts to sign Swansea's Joe Allen if the deal proceeds as expected.
Aquilani has failed to settle at Anfield since signing in 2009 for £20m from Roma and has been on loan for the last two seasons.
His stints at AC Milan last term and Juventus in the 2010-11 season mean he did not play for former Reds' managers Kenny Dalglish and only made two appearances for Roy Hodgson.
And despite having two years' left on his contract and completing pre-season under new boss Brendan Rodgers, it appears that his time at Liverpool is coming to a conclusion.
Rafael Benitez brought Aquilani to Anfield as a replacement for Xabi Alonso, but he struggled with injury and made 26 appearances in his first season.

Thank **** for that. I thought he was going to be a great player for us but it wasn't to be. Let's have another cull of the **** like we did when Kenny came in (one of his crowning achievements at his second coming) and clear off Cole and Downing.
I like Carroll and Henderson so I think they should stay and develop under Rodger's system.
I also think Adam should stay but he should only play if defensive midfield is sufficient enough for him to never have to make a tackle ever! He's still a useful squad player. Was muß, das muß.

Agent: Aquilani will remain at Liverpool
The player's representative, Franco Zavaglia, insists there Fiorentina are not in a position to sign the Italy international, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan
Jul 29, 2012
The Italy international has spent the last two years of his Reds career on loan, first at Juventus and then at AC Milan.
Aquilani admitted earlier this week that he would have liked to return to Roma and has been linked with Fiorentina in recent days, but the player's representative, Franco Zavaglia, claims that the 28-year-old will be staying at Anfield.
"Aquilani is a Liverpool player," the agent told Radio Sportiva. "He's fine there and will remain in England. We are not going back to the torment of last year. There is no basis for this operation [to Fiorentina].
"There was no offer from [Fiorentina sporting director] Daniele Prade, also because the figures involved do not allow Fiorentina to sign him.
"He has two years left on his contract so this time there is only the possibility of an outright sale, and nothing else.
"At the moment, there is now news, although from here on, everything could change. But at the moment his return to Italy seems difficult."
The 28-year-old Aquilani, who has been capped 21 times by the Azzurri, joined Liverpool from Roma for a reported €20 million fee.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

aqua sold for reported 7 mill and allen bought for reported 15 mill is yet more poor business IMO. i like alberto as a player and think if we showed a real desire to keep him he would stay. hes a talented player and would no doubt fit well into the rodgers way of playing. allen on the other hand is a one season wonder who performed well last year but that one year has given him a mark up of maybe 10-12 mill on his acutal price. i dont like the idea of buying stupid amounts of money on one good year a la carroll and henderson again.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

The difference between Allen and Adam, Henderson, Carroll etc is that Rodgers worked with him. Dalglish hadn't worked with those others. Rodgers knows his qualities inside out and imo its not too much of a risk if the manager has 100% trust in him to do a good job for us. I think Allen could be a key signing if we get him.Originally posted by the rev leeroy brown View Postaqua sold for reported 7 mill and allen bought for reported 15 mill is yet more poor business IMO. i like alberto as a player and think if we showed a real desire to keep him he would stay. hes a talented player and would no doubt fit well into the rodgers way of playing. allen on the other hand is a one season wonder who performed well last year but that one year has given him a mark up of maybe 10-12 mill on his acutal price. i dont like the idea of buying stupid amounts of money on one good year a la carroll and henderson again.
