I thought they had it in them to stay strong one more season but their spine just fell apart. Especially Lampard, ****ing hell, he is BAD.
Don't forget Essien. I think they miss him terribly.

Also, Mikel hasn't really developed. Gone backwards even. He was a better player when the rest of the team was playing better. That kinda makes him a passenger.

It'll be interesting to see if this plays out. If AVB is still in charge at the start of next season then i doubt Terry and possibly Fwank will be in the starting XI
I think that Alex should be starting ahead of Terry and Luiz. They look more solid with him in.

    That's a good point.

However I don't really think they're much better than us, if at all.

Completely forgot about the amount of signings they've made this year. You'd want to see an improvement after spending that amount of poke.

Yes, this too. Massive regression there.

He's more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil.

Seems to write about a broader range of football topics now. Which is nice.

Yeah I like Rory. Shame he's no longer a Liverpool (area) correspondent.

City's purchases look a lot more coherent than the Chavs of late.

If Villas Boas gets the sack before the end of the season, I dont think Chelsea will be winning the league for a fair few years. The will have been knocked down and rebuilt so many times without it being finished.

Was thinking that the other night.

Lost to United away, Arsenal at home, us at home twice
