so he was hired to win the italian cup?Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostOk, it depends how you define success.
He guarantees trophies, I should say.
if someone had won 5 carling cups in 5 years would they be regarded as guaranteeing trophies?
or do people tend to only think of the important ones?

One of them said for a couple of days - when Mourinho took the fight to Barca in the build up to the CL games - he warmed to him and said Jose has never been more popular than he was then. But once that wore off, and they lost (again), then all the trash talk became hollow and worthless. Reckons he's not a Madridista (?) and is a poor fit for the club.Originally posted by dww View PostOnce again I am amazed by fans ability to think independently and not form some sort of hive mind. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Someone wrote this on 6CM and I'm inclined to nod and agree.
"I can't believe you all take this so seriously, it's great entertainment. You all sound like a bunch of Patrick Barclays, tut-tutting about ungentlemanly behavior, the death of the game and all that ****e.
RM's manager stuck his finger in the eye of the assistant manager of Barca, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, I ****ing love it."

Whoever wrote that patently wouldn't hold the same opinion had Mourinho done the same to our assistant (Steve Clarke
...making such an assault somewhat unlikely
).
It's a fine line. I love all the kick offs in those games and roll my eyes when you hear commentators saying "ooh we don't like to see this" - we do.
But the Mourinho sideshow is just tedious beyond belief. He can't stand not being in the limelight and his desperate behaviour shows up some pretty embarrassing character flaws. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If someone thinks it is fun when someone do something that could have make another person blind on one eye then he or she is a ****ing idiot.
What Mourinho did was a disgrace and on the street it would be classed as a criminal act. No fun at all. It was a disgrace.
He isn't guaranteed success either. He didn't even reach one CL final at Chelsea. They got him in to win the league and the CL.
He won the league but I can't say that he was a success at Chelsea. You are expected to win the league when you splash out £200m net in a few years time.
You are expected to win the league and CL at Real and do it in a way that make the supporters proud. Winning isn't enough at Real. You must win in style.
He will be a big failure if he don't win the league or CL this season.
He isn't either that great building a club from top to bottom. He is great building a league squad by spending a lot of money but **** taking care of young talents from the teams own Academy.
Rafa is for example a much more complete manager than Mourinho will ever be.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

I don't often agree with Arn, but he's actually made a really good point there. I agree that Rafa is a more complete manager than Mourinho.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostThat last line just had to be made in any Arn post
