Just worked out that Gerrard has scored 73 goals in the past five seasons for Liverpool, Messi might well reach that THIS season.

Gerrard also has 36 assists for Liverpool over the past five seasons, Messi has 63. (This one is league only).

I know Messi is a one-off, but compared to our own legend that's a bit depressing
