I can't see guardiola coming to any English club to be honest. He apparently hated to toll being just coach took on him at Barcelona, adding the other tasks that come as being and English style manager doesn't seem a good way to solve that. I suppose the counter argument is that the pressure of loving Barca made him take everything more personally.

No, but their 2012 form has been horrible. They surrendered a 10-15 point lead for 3rd and almost didn't end up making it they played terrible football and lost a lot of games against poor opposition. 4-0 to Espanyol etc. They had the best team in the semi's of the Europa league and really should've won, instead they lost 5-2 to a very, very average Atletico Madrid. He was going to continue taking the team backwards, he did well but it was time for a change.

Also, he didn't quit. He was offered only a 1 yr contract at the end of last season because the president Llorente and the fans have grown tired of the poor football under him. He wanted to replace him last season but no better manager was available so they let have another season. This year he almost ****ed up what was a dead cert and neither the president or the fans would accept another season from him.

Despite selling their best players and having injuries to some key players like Banega and Canales, they easily have the best squad of the rest and should be getting a lot more quality out of players like Piatti, Parejo, Pablo Hernandez etc. There's some top players in that team like Jonas, Alba and Rami.

On Pep. He needs a break, I'm pretty sure we'll see him in the English game in the next couple of seasons. If the right project isn't available it might be Germany or Italy first, but I think he'll definitely make his way to England sooner or later. He always speaks very well of it, he speaks fluent English and understand the mechanics of the game well. He never got to give it a shot as a player and I think he wants to prove he can do it as a manager.
