This isn’t having a go at Jones, but what is the point in playing him ahead of Gulacsi? I would either keep Reina in nets or give Gulacsi the experience.

I suppose the obvious answer is that Jones is better, but if that the case then why the **** is Gulacsi still here then?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He played a lovely 30 yard ball to the right back early in the game.

I think he had a bit of unfair stick in the match thread.

Could have/Should have done better.. Seems he was fouled by Olsson though.

After the goal he came for loads more crosses and took them all cleanly. Made a stop at his near post about a minute after their goal which is the type of goal I've seen Pepe concede countless times over the past 18 months. Also pulled off a decent save from distance.

Added to that his kicking was pretty good and he got us away on the attack quickly.. Pepe's kicking against United at times was awful.

I love Reina but on current form and therefore merit, I don't think he should be an automatic pick over Jones personally. If we a keeper with more experience as back up I bet he'd have pushed Reina harder and probably got some time in the league already.

May be the reason he dropped it.

he did better than ok. he played well. caught everything, made saves, good with his feet and kept a clean sheet. something reina struggles to do.

I'd keep him in til he ****s up. He might not be the best keeper in the world, but Reina could do with a bit of a treat to his place.

At least keep him in for Thursday Night.

Edit: Just realised that our next league game is the Derby. **** him off. Reina needs to play

That was his best game for us yet but I'd still rather see Pepe back in goal

No errors, no mistakes, very solid throughout and his save vs McCleary was excellent.
