All well and good for Brad and his contract, but where in the hell is Doni ??

You'd think he would have been found in a ditch by now......last we heard was he was supposed to be back in Liverpool and the start of November, but since that he's like a fart in the wind.

He stood in well for Pepe when he was injured. At one point even looking like the better option between the sticks. Although Pepe being **** for so long had a lot to do with that.

I also like the guy has a person. Always come across well in every interview I've seen, and I can only have the upmost respect for his strength.

I still believe we should be looking at a youngish goalkeeper who'll challenge Pepe for the number one spot next season. Lets face it, Pepe had been gash for a while and looking over his shoulder he see's a championship keeper who is never really any danger to him.

Can I just say that I'm amazed that this thread hasn't been bumped before now......

Anyway, not much to say, other than, how funny was it when he got up to have a go at the Oldham player in the first few minutes ?

Kind of went downhill after that................

His missus tweeted before... so read into it what you want... that he's playing with a shoulder injury and implied he'd had an injection in order to play.

Shouldn't prevent him from fumbling for that goal, surely. He's just a howler waiting to happen, all the time. He performed way over expectation in that run and fair play to him for that, but he's still a **** keeper who makes too many basic mistakes for this level. He was error prone in the Championship too, mind.

Yup, shoulder injury or not that spill for the goal on halftime is something you'd not expect from a sunday league keeper

It sort of fits with the way he went down, very slowly rather than just launching down to smother the ball as you'd expect a keeper to do.

That could be a result of the kick in the face he got though, perhaps he was worried they'd do it again and again.

For me if he was fit enough to start he was certainly fit enough to keep hold of that ball.

He's been a cock up waiting to happen

                          & it happened today

Nice bloke but **** keeper; where the **** is Lord Lucan Doni when you need him?

Reina's spilled shots like that tbh.

He's looked 'ok' at times and I thought his distribution was pretty decent today.

I was just thinking how good Jones had been just a few seconds before that spill. Then he cost us the FA Cup. Fine lines are at their finest when you're a keeper. Really can't be making those mistakes though I hope it was a one-off for a long while.

If only ****ing Doni wasn't AWOL. He is good enough to be a first choice keeper at most clubs.
