Luckily it's not a big deal cos he's only back up but he patently isn't 'as good as we can expect', most if not all no.2s in the PL are a lot better than him. Hopefully Reina will be back next week.

The keeper that was in goal for the Bitters vs Wigan looked terrible and rooted to the spot. I'm not saying he was to blame but he looked like he was wearing concrete boots, and it will be a travesty if we don't finish above them while he has an extended run in the side.

I loved Pepe but he had taken steps back in recent years. I thought Mignolet was fine last year I don't think Pepe would have done any better overall (things would have been different because they have different strengths) but it wasn't down to the keeper us not winning the league.

This year Mignolet has been poor, and while I don't rate Jones I don't think he will do much worse than Mignolet has been doing this season. Last season I was scared ****less that Jones would have to come in, but today I was more confident in him that I've been in Mignolet recently

FWIW, mistakes for the goals perhaps (maybe not) but defending in front atrocious....... today's defeat wasn't about the keeper.
