Not at all but it doesn't mask the fact that as a goalkeeper he's diabolical.Originally posted by Dessy View PostAnd you think that was the only problem today?
FWIW, mistakes for the goals perhaps (maybe not) but defending in front atrocious....... today's defeat wasn't about the keeper.
If we're relying on Jones we may as well pack inKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan but I don't see the point in lambasting someone for being a below average No. 2.Originally posted by Gazzla View PostNot at all but it doesn't mask the fact that as a goalkeeper he's diabolical.

It is BR and his coaching staff or lack of who are guilty of not improving what we have.... and the committee for not signing a competitive No. 2.

The problem now is that a below average number 2 is now very much thrust into the position of being our first choice keeper.Originally posted by Dessy View PostDon't get me wrong, I'm not a fan but I don't see the point in lambasting someone for being a below average No. 2.

Think he would have too. Certainly would not have dived early like Jones did.
Mignolet can be criticised for many aspects of his game, but dealing with shots on goal is not one of those things.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

and he had already sat on his arse for the third.
he thought mata was going to shoot, so squatted down, wtf was that about.
when mata crosses for RVP he was struggling to get off his arse and get across.
motd analysis showed how de gea stays on his feet and forces the striker to make the move, rather than guessing which way and then leaving the goal wide open for the striker.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

We have 2 **** keepers. Not getting rid of Brad and keeping him as our backup has really come back to bite us on the arse. He's woeful.
We need a 1st choice keeper and a world class striker in Jan. Anything other than that is needed but not as essential. Realistically we also need 2 CD and a DMOriginally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Our second keeper always seems to be useless. It's almost as if we cheer when they make a half decent save they should be making to justify the thousands of pounds they are paid to sit on their arse 51 weeks of the year.Originally posted by meffin View PostWe have 2 **** keepers. Dropping Mignolet "indefinitely" is bizarre. Silly statement to make in public and no need for it from BR. Not sure why he always feels the need to make this stuff public.Substance > Style
