In fact, I'd go further than that. When teams have gone for City, City have looked very vulnerable. When team come at us we have generally slaughtered them. Why wouldn't teams at least go for it against them, hiding to nothing surely?

I think that the City PR machine has done fairly well until recently. I am in a football WhatsApp group which started out as just a few friends and then added friends of friends etc, anyway it has a range of fans in no City fans and a few LFC fans but mostly neutrals. Anyway most of them wanted City to win the league and a few wanted them to win the treble because 'they are a great team' and it 'would be historic'. When I mentioned how much money they spend, a lot come back with comments such as 'Liverpool are spending about the same', 'Liverpool are also being investigated for financial fairplay', 'City aren't dominating English football', 'Having someone different dominating is good for the game', as well as the you're just jealous/bitter etc. I've posted some of the links above and will see how they go down

It was OK to start with when I knew everyone in it, but it is **** now, I don't post in it much and only read it from time to time to gauge a bit of a wider view on a few things. Most of the stuff in there jus annoyed me to be honest.
