Just a quick scan of Bluefume and saw this from a City supporter what a bunch of pricks.

We need a complete new defence. A complete defence. Also 2 world class strikers. A worthwhile defensive midfielder. Another attacking midfielder to replace silva and Sane.

We're looking at a needed spend of over 500m just to get a team that can get to a CL semi final.

        Brilliant.

Them, Barca and Real have spent more than anyone in recent history and they're all a broken, squashed and trodden pulp of a mess.
        Oh I don't know.

Without wanting to set off every cliche klaxon going it is what happens when you build a collection of players rather than a squad with a philosophy.

              Not sure that's entirely fair.

They got 198 points in the previous two seasons in our league. That was off the scale unprecedented.

But, there does seem to be something seriously wrong there at the moment. They are as likely to sweep sides away with five goals as they are to lose. And both of those things occur remarkably often.

              It's pretty schizophrenic.

I've no idea how they fix it. I'm not sure they do either.

No idea tonight why he goes with a back 3 it’s like he try’s to overthink it or he’s thinking about how to compete with Bayern before he’s won this game.

Some sort of weird pressure he feels in Europe? I dunno

Because he didn't want to play a flat back 4 against Lyon. Was worried two CBs wouldn't cope with their attackers. He said as much in the post match interview

Defensive recruitment has been the major facing during Peps time at Citeh (and even pre dates Pep)

Mad given the amount of money spent.

I have to say, I do think that it’s pretty pathetic to spend your time reading an opposition teams fan forums......... but I don’t care- Bluemoon is the best!!

So good right now- they’re all blaming pep! More than a few calling for him to be sacked!! I feel like he got it wrong tonight... but to call for him to be sacked after what he’s done for their club?!?

Im only 100 (out of 1400) posts in so far and as much as I love seeing them throw pep under the bus, this is the winner so far- nothing will ever beat their conspiracies of how everyone is against them!!

                        I don't tip

Laporte went looking for the foul & the Ref didn’t buy it was how I saw it. I’d not watched the match but I read the Match report before watching the highlights & the reports of controversy & even a terrible decision costing City the match seemed way ott once I watched it. All reports seem to think Pep overthought the team selection but if Raheem equalized it could have been so different.

This season they have lost 12 games and when they have needed a result they have essentially bottled it. Since Kompany left they have lost a real leader in the side and when the going gets tough they are found wanting.

Look at them vs us early in the league - some things went against them and they couldn’t find a way to come back. Post restart all the games that mattered they bottled them:

                              - Chelsea in the league
                              - Arsenal in the Cup
                              - Lyon in the Champions league

When they are ahead and teams have thrown in the towel vs them there is no one better at racking up the goals and making chances. Once the pressure is off them that is when they turn a 1 nil into a 5 nil so easily

Contrast to us this season - we have leaders all over our the pitch and across the squad. Our mental fortitude this season has been sensational and if we keep it up then next season should be another good one
