Has it been confirmed that this will go ahead in the PL? I know that FIFA said they were ok with it but it was up to the individual leagues/competitions to decide one way or another. I imagine that if it came to a vote it would be difficult to find 14 teams who would back it as at really mostly benefits the top 6 clubs.

I wanted us to sign Torres, think he's a really good player, but **** me after reading his comments to the press, I'm happy we didn't sign him. Regardless of his issues, you shouldn't be airing that in public. Parejo is regarded as one of he better players in the league and is in his 30s, imagine a 20 year old expecting him to be stripped of the captaincy and parity of wages.

Think he'll be excellent over time though unfortunately. He's quite strong and runs well with the ball, has something about him. He's outshone Guedes who has fallen off the rails the last couple of seasons. Still quite raw. Would think if he played in Spain for longer he'd have converted into a forward, but sure Pep will keep him as a winger.
