Wouldn't surprise me. Whatever happens, we've been cheated out of multiple league titles wins and an era of dominance.

    Completely ****ed.

They will squirm out of this like they did the last time. There will be no appetite from the Premier league to defend itself against any litigation for penalties imposed against city for these breaches.

Pundits are ****ing spineless though. They care more about their cushy job and nice pay cheque

Why not? This is really just ruining the last decade or so in the PL, everyone knows they cheated and they should be stripped of titles, even if United benefit as well. If there is no retro action, it might just have been worth it for them.

The cheek of Pep in his press conference the other day questioning Chelseas transfer spending.

How complicit were the likes of mancini in any second contract? He's got problems too.

I agree they absolutely should be. I just think if there is any meaningful punishment it will be forward looking. Even if it is retrospective, it will only be the years in question. Even though the following years are obviously affected by their financial cheating.

So basically they are saying they want a third party, an "independent commission" to look into it and clear them?

Sorry dickheads, CAS or whomever you have in mind cannot get involved in a PL investigation.

Guess someone should have been more generous with their past brown envelopes

Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.

The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.

As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.

Lovely old job. Let the sanctions begin. 10 year ban on transfers. Dropped to the lowest League and given a 50 point penalty deduction in the first season
