    Same.

Sanchez, as good a player as he clearly is, is not a striker for me. If they persist with playing as him as their only striker I can see them struggling to score enough goals.

      Agreed

Personally think the same when people mention playing Sterling up front for us, but that's for another day.

He could get away with it for Barca, but thats because they had 80% possession and the opposition sat on their 18-yard line for most of the match.

I keep hearing people saying, without any foundation at all i must admit, but anyway i keep hearing...'I bet Falcao ends up at Arsenal'.

To be honest, it's possible if he's still aiming to leave Monaco for a season.

For one season only i think they could come to an arrangement, as i say, if he intends to play away from Monaco for one season before joing Madrid, then his options will get less, and he'll have to stay or make a concession for a season, he can then go back to ridiculous money when he joins Madrid.

All this is of course based on the theory that he wants out of Monaco for this one season, if that's the case, someone is going to sign him on some sort of negotiated terms, could all depend on whether Monaco want him out this season too though.

considering he's just back from Injury,it's too much of a risk imo

                  Maybe, could be right.

Would all depend on cost/risk, and how much each of those involved would be willing to give.

@GuillemBalague: Arsenal fans seem disappointed that Falcao isnt coming at all. Dont be upset, guys. You only spend what u have. Clever financial management

                            Latest from the Emirates

"Barring a late surprise, Arsenal are highly unlikely to make any signings before the transfer window closes. They remain in a number of conversations as they search for a back-up central defender and a holding midfielder, but currently it looks like nobody will be arriving at Emirates Stadium. So that also means no new striker despite the absence of Olivier Giroud until the new year through injury.
"The Gunners have singed Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers and David Ospina this summer. There could be a couple of squad players leaving the club before the 11pm deadline."

****ing hell, they will surely get a couple in? They are badly short in defence and obviously are desperate for another striker.
