Wellbeck is not a bad player, despite people ridiculing him. Wenger will make him a better player, that's for sure. He's not going to be a world beater but I think he's a good signing for Arsenal, in the circumstances they're in. They've got the better value for money than what United are getting.

I've grown to like Welbeck over the last 12 months. Awful in front of goal but good game all round otherwise. If he discovers some form of goalscoring we might be a bit worried, but even sweeter would be if he outscores Falcao this season.

Falcao has disaster written all over him. Wellbeck is a decent piece of business for Arsenal. He's an England international and £16m is not as insane as spending £70m on a mercenary.

I agree to a point and think he will do alright for them in time but not sure he can lead the line though which is what they really need at the moment.
