What have Arsenal won in recent years?

The point is Chelsea have won lots lately, still nobody has any real value towards their so-called 'history' or heritage.

Same goes for Aston Villa, not won anything for ages, but still a club with history and heritage. Spurs too.

Until last year, Ajax hadnt won a lot for nearly a decade and won next to nothing in Europe for ages. Their name still has more prestige than Man City/Chelsea and the club has a rich history.

So you're agreeing with me then - time is the difference.

For clubs to have a distinguished heritage/history they must have had a period of winning things in the past.

If Chelsea or Man City go through a period of being dominant then in 30 years time I'm sure they'll have 'history' too.

Chelsea have been winning things for the past decade or so, hasnt made much of a difference.

So no, i dont agree with you. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Since the Carling Cup final last season, they've won 4 out of 18 league games.

          Relegation form.

Where's gracious gooner and the big gap crew?

Would be interesting to see what games they have until xmas compared to what we have (aren't we due a run of some easy games soon)?

Arsenal not in the CL could seriously f*ck them up, despite what Wenger says. If they can't afford to buy players while they were IN IT, then what chance when they're not? The likes of Van Persie will say his goodbyes, and the likes of Paul Konchesky will be drafted in. :s

                  Oh dear

They really are all over the place. Out of contention for Europe by Christmas I reckon. Pitty spuds got Parker, they're going to push us all the way again this season.

I still think Spurs have had some easier away games (the ones they've won, i mean) and it's showing them in a slightly better light than they actually are.

And Adebayor has a habit of doing great for the first 2-3 months at a new club and then fading.

We're favourites for 4th with the bookies and i'd have to agree with them based on what i've seen so far.

Ouch. Along with van Persie, he's their only true great player left, and van Persie will be injured soon enough.

With Arsenal's implosion, 4th is there for the taking. I'll be gutted if spurs finish up 4th, Redknapp is ****e & we'll have really missed out on a big chance to get back in the CL.

In fact, Arsenal's league form since the League Cup final is worse than what i posted:

                        DDDWDDWDDLWLLDDLLWLWL

21 league games and only 24 points taken....those two recent victories were against Swansea and Bolton at home.

                        It's relegation form.

                        Comment

Not quite relegation form, but not far off. They will improve after the January window, but that will be too late for them to rescue anything from the season.

Worst Arsenal team I can remember. Take out RVP and they are no better than Bolton or Wolves IMO.
