He has to make every penny of his £130,000 per week count you know. Fuel prices going up, gas bill increases higher than inflation. I can see where he's coming from, sometimes you just have to look after number 1.Originally posted by barnes10 View Postisnt wenger a shareholder? so the financial health is hugely in his own interestsSakhoPotatoes

Well, you could say the same about Rodgers when he left out key players against Oldham.Originally posted by -V- View PostWenger needs to be sacked honestly. Their only chance for a trophy and he leaves out Podolski, Walcott, Cazorla and Wilshire. What an absolutely ****ing clown.
Bayern are going to absolutely hump them. Probably 7-2 on aggregate
I smiled when they got knocked out but not more than that.Stop the cyberhate

Rodgers played Suarez, Sturridge, Borini and Sterling in attack. You can't blame him for resting Gerrard who had played every league game for us. Pepe was injured and Coates needed a chance to prove himself. We had enough on the park to win by a few against one the worst teams in the football league.
Nothing compared to Wengers stupidity today

Yes.
Finishing fourth is muck more important than winning the FA cup so leaving out key players was the rigth thing to do.
Wenger and Rodgers made the right decision. Kenny didn't do it and he lost his job.Stop the cyberhate

Whats the point of being in any professional sporting competition if its just to take part?
Different sport but I doubt Andy MURRAY would have been happy to just be known as 4th best and taking part to get to semi's

A lot of money and easier to sign top quality players.Originally posted by Alex View PostErm I know what you are saying about finishing 4th. But it is nice to win trophies. Whats the point in finishing 4th if its all they do.
If we had finished fourth last season and got knocked out of the cups in the first rounds then Kenny would probably still be our manager.Stop the cyberhate

At the end of the day I don't really care who the manager is. All I care about as a fan is winning silverware. In the case of Arsenal they dont win anything and constantly finish 4th/3rd.
I hate the mentality that 4th or top 4 is an achievement. Its not. Its 4th best in the league.*Except Michael, who died.

So would you rather we won the Leauge cup and not be in the Champions League then?Originally posted by Alex View PostAt the end of the day I don't really care who the manager is. Edit; or was it a joke? Makes more sense if it was a joke?
