He has to make every penny of his £130,000 per week count you know. Fuel prices going up, gas bill increases higher than inflation. I can see where he's coming from, sometimes you just have to look after number 1.

Rodgers played Suarez, Sturridge, Borini and Sterling in attack. You can't blame him for resting Gerrard who had played every league game for us. Pepe was injured and Coates needed a chance to prove himself. We had enough on the park to win by a few against one the worst teams in the football league.
