I think Arteta is better than Cabaye, who has always been a bit hot and cold with his form over the last 2 years.
He seems like a squad player to me, especially considering Wilshire and Cazorla are virtual guaranteed starters.
I thought Cabaye is a bit odd for them, they have Arteta, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsay and Diaby I'd have thought they needed a proper ball winning player, with a good injury record.

Arteta is injured and none of the others have the discipline for the deepest midfield role. Not sure that Cabaye is an ideal fit but I can see why they might want him.
