I reckon they could finish 5th and out of the CL. What a hammer blow that would be.

We were worried that a 4th place finish last season would mean they buy strongly and would effectively lock us out of the top 4 for a good while.

They went and bought Özil, Flamini (free) and some other newbie (that hasn't looked too bad) when they really needed a bloody good striker.

Now they are struggling for goals and they look tired.

The tables have turned and now it looks like they won't be able to entice any great players with no Champion's League. We are the ones looking to capitalise and build something special.
    Was muß, das muß.

Would Ozil stay if they don't have Champions League football next season?

Looks like he's struggled to settle in the English game. Can't see many teams lining up to pay £40m for him after this season though.

They'll finish in the top 4. They live for the fourth place run in.

          This.

Everton (or Neverton as Dom prefers ) have a much tougher run in and I can't see past Arsenal for fourth.

Well if he plays like he has this season i hope they keep him. He has the ability to be a match winner when he wants to be but he really has been **** for Arsenal.

Incredibly talented player but IMO is lazy and a has zero fight in him. Neither of these do well in the premier league.

Wright said on BBC 5 Live: 'That's the kind of manager that you want, a good young manager that has proven himself tactically, he knows what he's doing.
'It's got to be that kind of man, Roberto Martinez, he's the perfect one. If someone was to ask me who I want, I'd say Roberto Martinez.

Looked like Walcott to me. Or Lewis Hamilton.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I'm sure the skinflint Italian teams will take him on loan with Arsenal paying most of his wages

Both have difficult games against relegation candidates and both have a game against midtable team with little to play for.

Everton really have it hard becuase of the two Manchester games. City especially, and United are slightly better than earlier this season.

I still fancy Arsenal taking fourth - but not by much now. 60-40 in Arsenal's favour.

What has to be a worry for Arsenal was that Martinez tactically outclassed the more experienced Wenger yesterday. It’s no surprise to see them lose considering their injuries, but Everton dominated the game and Arsenal couldn’t deal with Lukaku being played wide, similar to what we did with Suarez against them.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

would he have some sort of non CL escape clause.
