Jack Wilshere is facing more time on the sidelines after injuring his ankle during Saturday's defeat to Manchester United.
The Arsenal midfielder is to see a specialist after a late challenge from United defender Paddy McNair forced him off before the end of that 2-1 defeat at the Emirates.
Wilshere will be out "for a while", according to Arsene Wenger, who does at least have Laurent Koscielny back in his squad for Wednesday's Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal will be comfortably 3rd. They do this every season. Remember they still have Suanchez. And a decent goalie. And a better defence than Utd and us. And better midfielders.
Yeah. Chelsea at a canter. City comfortably second. Arsenal will take third and it hurts to say it but United look increasingly likely to pull away in 4th. They may even nick 3rd.
We've got our work cut out for us I'm afraid. If we don't improve all hope of top 4 will be long gone by New Year. It's a miracle it's still a possibility now to be honest.
Aye no chance. I've written it off. It would take an almost unprecedented sudden improvement, and since there's been zero signs of any improvement I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect sufficient improvement to make the top four.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
