Problem is no-one is ready. We have to take a chance on someone. It'll be interesting to see how Rodgers goes, but I imagine with him leaving Kelly behind last night it'll be the same old with Glen at LB.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
It's a nightmare for us really. Kelly hasn't kicked on and holds us back IMO....he's so far from what a Rodgers full back needs to be, and at the same time it negates Glen a little bit by moving him to LB. Enrique's form has plummeted but as things stand I'm so keen to see us with a natural shape and to see Glen at right back that I'd be tempted to try Jose again on Sunday. Grim I know, given his dire performances, but I really don't want to see Johnson stuck at LB again.
I actually think Johnson works well as a left back. I don't think he's massively diminished by the change of sides. Kelly has barely played enough to say that his progress has stalled - part of development for a defender is just playing. I think a useful comparison in terms of his failure to fit Rodgers philosophy is Tony Adams development under Wenger.

People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.
Riise was a much better player for us than Enrique has been - can't believe some of the stick he gets.
Yes he was limited but scored some tremendous goals for us, was rarely injured, and generally gave his all. I get the feeling his huge cock-up in the Champions League is what he's remembered for, which is sad.
Riise was the last player to put in a full season playing well at left back for us.
Enrique was gash yesterday. I'd go with GJ there on Sunday, but hopefully we can get Enrique back up to a decent standard for us. My thinking is he's struggling to adapt because he's a bit slow
Enrique is lucky his last name isn't Konchesky. Not syaing he's as bad as him, but if PFK had made the mistakes he has made recently, it would be a bloodbath.
I'm not so sure it was simply the new-signing grace period, he did ok for half a season. But since, and especially last night, he has been tripe. Absolutely awful.

BTW, who saw Konch's goal of the week contender?!
PF may be Henry K's brother but he's still worse.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
OR try Johnson left back, see how he copes for a while and Wisdom/Kelly right back. Wisdom should be given more games on the back of that performance. Sure it may have just been a stand out game but he looks very assured.
