Exactly, everything seem to go down his wing so it was inevitable he lost the ball a few times, especially with so many around him playing so poorly.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Compared to last season, I've thought he's looked much better this year (even before yesterday). The bald head has obviously helped him up his game. Even if he does look a bit mentally disabled.

Looking forward to seeing the compilation for the game today.

He's really upped his game and it is down to competition for places IMO as he is no longer an automatic starter so can't afford to slacken off.

It separates the men from the boys and Rodgers was right to bring in the youth to start worrying the first-team who were getting too comfortable. The likes of Cole and Downing have done nothing to suggest they deserve to be here whereas the likes of Enrique and Henderson are fighting for their place. I am liking this competition for places.

Reminds me of Riise in that he seems to have no right foot whatsoever

Its absolutely hilarious watching him play the last couple of games......all energy, running like a madman.
Delighted he got himself a goal as its just reward for his effort.
Responded well to the challenge from Rodgers, unlike others.

Bustling around, can't defend, doesn't know what to do most times he gets forward (great ball for Luis' second all the same)............apart from that, he's fine.
Just keep him out of our half

He's prone to the odd error, but generally I think he's a good defender. When he played poorly last year is was his distribution rather than his defending that was the main problem for me. Thought he did extremely well tracking back today too.

His current appearance reminds me of Rory B Bellows

He was great in the last 2 games though, long may it continue

I think he's quite average defensively....strong, but not too clever. Great at arsing people out of the way, but lacking in the nuances, if you know what I mean.
By saying 'can't defend', I'm being a little OTT, but its only in relation to his endeavour with the ball when trundling down the left......limited, but enjoyable to watch him try as he might.

He scored with his right foot today

know what you mean. Good physical attributes but not exactly the smartest. Defensive positioning is dire.

Fair play to him playing further up the pitch, has done well and credit where credit is due.

                              Better than Downing anyways
