Didn't see the game but good to hear he continued on from his second half Chelsea display. Great to see unsung heroes stepping up to the mark (I include Hendo in this ) - it's a squad game so everyone chipping in helps.

He is playing with confidence again and you can see it in his game, he has a composure about him, he is backing himself again and not 2nd guessing himself. Still a few miss passes but that can be ironed out.

The fact remains that even if it was vs Wigan...that was the best performance by a "winger" for Liverpool in a long time (Except maybe Sterling). If he can keep up that level in each game then who knows he could become a natural defensive winger to use the Football Manager term... It was certainly reassuring to have Johnson and Enrique on the same side and we kept a clean sheet. Not only did he give us extra steel at the back but he got an assist and a goal to his name. Not bad for your first start as a winger. I think Enrique can be a success, he just needs to cut the silly things out of his game.

WTGOR does that not apply to all players? Erique is not a winger, that much I know. Yes he had a very good game but he is a LB who needs to get back to being the kind of LB we saw in his first dozen or so games. I fear he will struggle though and ultimately I would rather play a natural winger/attacking player than him.

Enrique has all the tools to be a fantastic winger. He is a solid top Premiership player, and fans have just spunked there load way to quick righting him off, he had a dip in form, mainly last season for not getting a rest, he got injured, it has taken him awhile to get back to his best, we are starting to see that now, do we need another LB probally, would it be top of my list ? with Glen Johnson, Wisdom, Robinson, Kelly, Wilson... then no ... not in Jan anyways

What does WTGOR stand for? Yes I'd say it does apply to all players but Enrique has had more mistakes creeping into his game than some others you'd expect to play first team. I don't think its normal for him though as my Newcastle supporting brother said he was always very consistent. He was quite the cult hero to them. I think this is the turning point for him and as Mr Nice said I also think he could be a fantastic winger as he does have the attributes for it. He proved can spot the right pass in advanced positions and also help out at the back when he is needed. I hope he has the mentality to continue this form. He has a lot of good qualities.

WTGOR= With the greatest of respect.

Not sure I share your optimism but it is nice to see the positivity for him after his dreadful start to this season.

I could see Enrique saving his Liverpool career over Downing and Cole anyway. Those guys need to follow his example.

they need to follow the motorway out of town. And don't come back ever.

I hope so because he started with us as well as any signing has in recent years.

Jesus Christ the man had a ****ing dip in form, no more no less, Cole has done nothing since being here, and Downing has been spotty at best, Jose is not quite in that ****ing category .. what is it with LFC fans and our Left Back, Risse was practically ran out of the club like he was chairmen of the Jimmy Savile appreciation club

A dip in form normally lasts a matter of weeks for the better players. And Enrique was given the benfit of the doubt for a long time, but there comes a point where even you have to get your head out of the clouds and realise his **** does not smell of roses.

He has been poor and I am sure he will be the first to admit it. And I will not apologise for calling what I see, if you don't like it thats not my problem, I am here to discuss my team and voice my opinions. LB has been a problem position since Riise left (and he was not "practically ran out of the club"!!) .
