Getting some amount of criticism this season I see.

Am I the only one who thinks he's having a decent season?

I'd agree with that. He played a superb ball in for Suarez that he could have stuck away on another day & we'd all be singing Enrique's praises.

I don't think he was great yesterday and his marking at set pieces has been dodgy at best but he was decent in the first few games.

The problem with Enrique is that he is just not consistant enough, defensively he has lapses of concentration pretty regularly, which already cost us or could cost us dearly and that unfortunately affects his overall game performance.

In addition, offensively he doesn't give us enough either and personally I'd like to see us pursue a better choice LB in the summer.

We've had a lot worse. He is capable of real excellence both defensively and "attackingly" (as Carra said last week ) but he's just too erratic and inconsistent.

I don't think he's had any more than most of our other defenders recently, but as he's been pretty bad for it in the past it's a reputation he's finding hard to shake.

No. I think he's doing well

He has had a lot of sloppy moments, but so has everyone. I think he is decent enough. He can defend well ,and overlaps to great effect, as well as having a decent cross.

There are other positions that need strengthening first.

Some geezer on RAWK reckons that he saw Enrique earlier this week (think this chap works at a hospital or similar). Apparently Enrique was in a wheelchair and his knee's taken some real damage.

Could be bull**** of course but he reckons Enrique won't be back for a while and that this is a long-standing problem that he's got. Worrying if true.

Not a fan of moving players out of position but with Enrique out then we're very light at LB, and even though Johnson's a bloody good RB he's also more than good enough to play on the left.

I'd bring Kelly in and have Agger & Skrtel in the middle.
