Moyes' Top Ten Splurges in the Transfer Market:
1/ Marouane Fellaini (£19,145,280)
2/ Yakubu Aiyegbeni (£14,520,000)
3/ Andy Johnson (£9,680,000)
4/ Diniyar Bilyaletdinov (£8,800,000)
5/ Andy Van der Meyde (£7,920,000)
6/ James Beattie (£7,920,000)
7/ Kevin Mirallas (£6,732,000)
8/ Leighton Baines (£6,600,000)
9/ Johnny Heitinga (£5,984,000)
10/ Per Kröldrup (£5,984,000)
The guy certainly knows a striker when he sees one ...
He does seem to work better on a restricted budget ... maybe that is what the Glazer's want? It will certainly allow them to continue syphoning money and treat Man Utd like an ATM.

A 50/50 ratio at a push of decent signings and complete **** although you could argue Yakubu and Heitinga.Originally posted by Muddled View PostMoyes' Top Ten Splurges in the Transfer Market:

my favourite yakubu story is
me and my mate watching, i think it might have been middlesborough? did he play for them?
and all game andy gray was waxing lyrical about the yak, the big man - constantly calling him the yak
they get a pen and straight away - gray "the yak! it's got to be the yak, he never misses....yes see i told you, the yak stepping up, he never misses the yak"
The yak hits the post

gray stunned me and my mate laughing
the game was a cup game and it went to penalties.
gray "the yak will take one for sure, no waaayy the yak will miss twice in one night"
the yak missed

he's (murray) just a bit of try hard
he seems a nice enough bloke - as say, he's not near the level of chiles or keys - but if he keeps pushing it and gets given the platform he could really stink the place out
have you ever watched any of the online match of the day 3 clips - painful watching.
there was one recently, Murray knew it was car crash, and michael owen is sitting there....both hands gripping the chair for dear life and murray actually says "come on michael, it'll be over soon, relax"
