Love winding up Evertonians.
Here's my latest SMS exchange.
Everton fan: So were you happy moyes left mate?its confirmation of the scale of success he has had eh?huge challenge for him now but would have been for anyone following ferguson...it has given us more time to locate a new boss, thats a good thing..
Me: He almost won the FA Cup one year which was nice.
Everton fan: You dont get to be man u manager by being average.got us quite regular european football after none for 15 years, changed squad to extent that bar one first team all internationals...broke the top 4 after 2 seasons in charge..took us from being involved in relegation scraps on regular basis to finishing in top 6 on regular basis all done with having very nearly lowest spending power of all clubs in p league...would have thought you would be more respectful i have to say (

)
Me: Oh and I forgot his brilliant sole Champions League campaign.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Haha I love your first reply
RE this:
Besides the awful grammar, I read the other day that during Moyes' time at the club, they've been on average the 8th highest spending club, and their average league position during that time is..... 8th.with having very nearly lowest spending power of all clubs in p league

Everton fan: All i was doing was providing some examples of his achievements...lets be honest a lot of liverpool fans still repeat what rafa described us a few years ago...small club blah blah cos they blindly believed whatever he said...rafa will be looking for any club regardless of their size in a few weeks.and lets be honest the hatred a lot of liverpool fans have for anything man u connected eg phil neville is taking it far too serious

They just lie to suit. It's amazing. Their revenue streams are comparable to Atletico Madrid and Ajax ffs. And yes, about 8th in the league.Originally posted by Reece View PostHaha I love your first reply

Re this: "its confirmation of the scale of success he has had eh?"
It just isn't. It's confirmation that he's mates with Ferguson and he's Scottish. That's it.
Also, almost every Blue loathes Benitez with every fibre of their body. They also claim to think he's rubbish. When he was appointed manager of the European champions - twice - it not once "confirmed the scale of his success" in their eyes. They just called him "lucky"
. Absolute ****ing hypocrites

I think he's had them punching above their weight, yeah. Just above.
The point above is that they clearly don't have "very nearly the lowest spending power"
in the league and a lot of Evertonians would have you believe they're one of the paupers of the division.

He done very well there to be fair, is he good enough to take over after Fergie? I don't think so.. but he certainly will have the resources to prove a point and try make that happen.
