I don't know that I ever knew this
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A billion in debt, 92% wages to turnover ratio and falling revenue. 777 appear to be less than ideal owners, who are struggling to get the deal over the line.

I think they will have to go into administration in the summer.

Moshri would looking at losing £300m if that happened - I can see a fire sale in the summer, even then most deals are structured over a few years and Ev need cash and lost of it
I make no apologies, this is me

If they did that they'd start next season on -10 points.

There are rules in place to stop clubs doing exactly what you're suggesting

Remember some past rumours of us being interested in Branthwaite - wonder if we’d try for a cash up front deal..

Surely they would need to go administration before the season concludes, even if it happens Sunday lunchtime?

The rules for the football league seem only to stop teams taking the hit when already relegated. After the fourth Thursday in March deductionsbare suspend until outcomes know. Relegated and it is next season, survive and it is this season. Nothing definitive seems to be out there for PL though

The squad is valued at £297m before applying a fire sale discount. 8 of them can leave on a free in the summer. He’ll be lucky to get £100m back.

Someone will take a punt on Calvert-Lewin

Seems that there are some interested investors, but only if the club goes into administration so that they can pick it up at rock bottom value, and largely debt free, with the administrators left to sort out the debt.

The whole is a disgrace really. No football club should be in a position like this. And to think that FFP, fit and proper owner test, and the like were designed to stop this kind of thing happening. It's a complete failure of regulation.
                            Oh I don't know.

Not sure about that. He was promising about 3 years ago..... If big sam was around then he'd have taken a punt on him but can't see any premier league club paying good money for him tbh.

The piss taking about their new stadium being the best ground in the championship could turn out to be 100% correct. They were saved this year purely by the fact that the 3 clubs that got promoted were total dog****.

Can see them struggling big time next year and if they go into administration then they are ****ed
