If it is true though I wonder what the buying clubcan do with regards being sold a player without the knowledge that he had tested positive for drugs.

I would take a guess that, if Player X failed a drugs test and straight away the selling club thought..."**** it...lets get rid" - well there might be an issue, however the selling club could argue that it's the buying clubs fault for failing to do a proper medical?
And if player X failed the drugs test months ago, then is there any reason, legally to tell the buying club? there might be something where the club has to inform the FA ? but i don't know about telling other clubs about it.
should be an interesting program and the fallout will be interesting too.

Depends how football transfers work. It might be the selling club has to answer a list of required questions on medical history etc etc. So it may well be that the selling club is liable if they did not answer honestlyComment
