Ferguson lost his temper with the ITV presenter Kelly Cates, the daughter of Kenny Dalglish, the Liverpool manager, after the game.

Cates asked Ferguson why David de Gea, Ferguson's newly-acquired goalkeeper, was left on the bench. The youngster has had a less than impressive start to the season and was replaced by Anders Lindegaard.

What a grumpy old tosser. Should be happy with a point considering United were dominated most of the game and only had 2 shots on target. Always amusing seeing Ferguscum losing it when being asked a fair question - like when Barca battered them and he was asked what went wrong.

Didn't she actually ask who would start against Chelsea following Lindegaard's decent[ish] performance rather than why was De Gea left out for this match?
